ILETE consortium has collected certification experiences implemented in Europe.
A report on low energy building standards and norms in Europe has been written, focusing on laws and identifying various levels of labelling.
The report presents on one hand the European context and on the second hand the different local situations. The report (EN) is available below.

Using this preliminary work, ILETE partners published regional guides on building energy certification in Europe for a local dissemination. These documents aim at helping individual people and professionals for a certification approach.

The guides are separated in two parts:
- First and common part: European Union legislation and Energy Performance of Buildings Directive + best practices on low energy consumption in buildings
- Second part: national and local laws, rules and certification + useful information

All the regional guides have been translated in English in order to have a European vision of local initiatives and to be able to compare the different situation.
